Alanna 🇸🇬
Alanna is a narrative designer, puzzle maker, and curious archivist of secrets both real and imagined. Under the name Thorn & Key, she crafts immersive puzzle game experiences that blend storytelling with clever mechanics.
Alanna takes an innovative approach to escape games, from working with clients to create pop-up escape rooms in their spaces, or mini puzzle zines that can fit in your pocket.

Matthew 🇺🇸
Matthew is a puzzle designer, writer, printmaker, violinist, and software engineer. With his company Enigmida, he has created puzzle hunts, alternate reality games, and treasure hunts for audiences around the world. His clients have included a Michelin 3-star restaurant, a curiosity-themed art journal, and an electropop producer.
Matthew has played over 800 escape rooms in 18 countries. He is a regular contributor to Room Escape Artist, writing about escape rooms and immersive experience design. He has also participated in hundreds of puzzle hunts, and has been on the winning team of the MIT Mystery Hunt in 2021 and 2025.
